CAIPE provides a range of interprofessional education workshops and consultancy for teams, organisations and institutions, tailored to meet their specific requirements.
CAIPE has been successfully running interprofessional workshops for many years, designed by experts in the field and then run by them in consultation with the organisation. By bringing in outside help a fresh approach to a problem in various organisations is often identified, new ideas can emerge and above all the participants have quality time to think and reflect about their project.
In planning the workshops, CAIPE takes a number of other factors into consideration. These include the complexity of issues involved in working across professional boundaries to achieve change; the need to consider potential barriers to change; the importance of having an evaluation process in place from the beginning of any interprofessional learning initiative and the importance of patient / client involvement and focus in all interprofessional learning. The workshops build on interprofessional initiatives already in place or planned, in which participants are involved.
Consultancy
CAIPE provides organisations and institutions with advice, support and guidance on matters interprofessional according to their needs. A full costing statement for this type of work is agreed by the two parties before the work begins.
