The Karolinska Instutet, Sweden starts the First Nordic Master Programme in Medical Education
In September 2009, Karolinska Institutet will start the first Nordic Master Programme in Medical Education, corresponding to 2 years full time . The programme will run half-time, mainly on-line, with a few days on-site at Karolinska Institutet campus each term. The programme welcomes healthcare professionals and/or teachers, leaders and educational developers who work within a medical faculty and who want to develop their educational expertise. The main theme is Teaching and learning for an unknown future with a special focus on work place learning as well as interprofessional learning.
The programme, which is free of charge, starts on-line the 7th of September, 2009. The first on-campus meeting (Kick-off) will be the 23rd-25th of September, 2009, at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm.
