Inter-professional Clinical Skills Education Symposium
The Department of Nursing and Midwifery, University of Limerick in collaboration with the School of Nursing and Midwifery, National University of Ireland, Galway co-hosted an Inter-professional Clinical Skills Education Symposium on December 7th 2010 at University of Limerick. The event was transmitted via video conference to National University of Ireland, Galway.
Professor Mary O'Sullivan, Dean of the Faculty of Education and Health Sciences opened the event and Mr Larry O'Connor, Head of the Department of Nursing and Midwifery introduced the speakers. Guest speakers included Professor Maggie Nicol, Professor of Clinical Skills and Director of the Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL), School of Community and Health Sciences, City University London and Ms. Siobhan Smyth, Lecturer and Programme Director, School of Nursing and Midwifery, National University of Ireland, Galway.
