Developers of User and Carer Involvement in Education (DUCIE) network
Notification of future meetings.
DUCIE aims to enhance the involvement of users and carers in learning and teaching through development of a support network for user and carer involvement development workers employed within UK higher education institutions (HEIs).
The network is supported by the Mental Health in Higher Education project, but is open to workers in generic roles (ie not only those with a mental health focus). Meetings are held three times a year, with email and telephone contact maintained in between.
User and carer involvement development workers in Higher Education Institutions (who may be employed under a different title, such as 'consumer academic' 'user coorindator' or 'administrator'), are welcome to join DUCIE. They are also welcome to bring along with them a colleague who supports their role within their institution.
Please pass this information to friends and colleagues who may be interested..
