5th Annual John Horder Lecture

An invitation from Hugh Barr.

You are invited to join John Horder his wife Elizabeth and many of his admirers, friends, colleagues and well-wishers on the evening of Wednesday 22 June at St George’s University of London in Tooting for the 5th Annual Lecture in his honour.  Following a distinguished career in general practice, John brought energy, inspiration, conviction, determination and leadership to interprofessional education in the UK during its formative years, serving as CAIPE’s first Chairman then first President and, concurrently, as a founder member of the Editorial Board for the Journal of Interprofessional Care.

The speaker will be Lord Crisp, better known as Nigel Crisp, on the magnitude of the global health challenge for the professions. Peter McCrorie, from St George’s, and Scott Reeves, the Journal’s Editor-in-Chief, will open the following discussion as we probe not only for the professional but also the interprofessional implications.
We shall be meeting in the Medical School in St George’s Hospital seven minute’s walk from Tooting Broadway underground station on the Northern Line half an hour from central London.

The lecture will be followed by a wine reception

The evening will be free of charge, but it is essential that you register your attendance.

President, CAIPE
