Professor Dawn Forman
Vice Chair CAIPE
Professor Dawn Forman is a Consultant working with Universities and Trusts in the UK on Leadership, Strategic development and Interprofessional Education. She is an Adjunct Professor at Auckland University of Technology and Hong Kong Polytechnic University and an Associate of the Leadership Foundation for Higher Education in the UK.
Dawn was a Dean of Faculty for 12 years working in two Universities in the UK during that time. Her faculties have included Teacher Education, Sports Science and Biosciences as well as Health and Social Care. Dawn was also a Non-Executive Director of Trent Strategic Health Authority for 4 years.
Dawn has a keen personal interest in Interprofessional Education and it was the subject of her PhD which she completed in 2000. Professor Forman has been a member of CAIPE (Centre for the Advancement of Interprofessional Education) for over 15 years and is now Vice Chair. Dawn is also Chair of the IPE Taskforce and European representative for the Network:Towards Unity for Health which is closely linked to the World Health Organisation.
