Dr Richard Gray

Richard was appointed to the CAIPE board in 2009. He is a general practitioner in Brighton and Honorary Faculty Fellow, University of Brighton. He previously was an Associate Dean for Postgraduate General Practice Medical Education, and Principal Lecturer in Primary Care and interprofessional disciplinary lead at the Brighton and Sussex Medical School. He was involved in the design and implementation of the undergraduate first year clinical practice modules which included IPE involving nursing, midwifery, pharmacy, social work and medical students. Richard has a particular interest in the preparation and support of teachers involved with IPE and has recently submitted an EdD thesis focusing on this area.
